Salvation Army Youth Football Club aims to offer children good fun, exercise and a
chance to learn and development their football skills within a safe and encouraging environment.
But most of all we want our young players to LOVE playing football.
We strive to provide a positive atmosphere for the children which in turn
creates confidence and self-esteem in our young players.
As a club we consistently strive to achieve the balance between player game time and competitive football. Our focus is to deliver high quality, age appropriate coaching. For the younger age groups (U11) this provides positive player development and fair game time. Once at U12 – U16, with the opportunity to play completive football, the emphasis moves to recognise the competitive nature of the game. We play to win but not at the cost of player development.
